Computer Repair & Virus Removal
I’m looking to start my own computer repair compay. What would be a good name for the business? It seems like everything I think of is taken. I will be Repairing and installing PC’s, Servers and Networks for homes and businesses.
Mainly locally, A small computer repair business, with many other services, wireless installations, hardware repair, system repair, spyware/virus removal, and so on. I’m trying to boost up the business, and one recommendation was to make an ad and just start putting it in people mail box’s. or apartment buildings. the good thing about the business is that the services are very cheap, so its hard to pass it on! any recommendations on how to get more business?
I would like to hear from other computer repair technicians. I have just started my own small business, mobile computer repairs for small businesses and home users, in rural Ireland, I am getting a lot of virus removal, spy-ware removal, formatting of operating systems type of work, I also intend on offering basic website design service. I would like advice on increasing my income in areas which have proved to increase income for other such small businesses. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I fix computers part time. However, I recently read that if I advertise without a license, I can get into trouble. So my question is: 1. Just a quick question. What is your perspective on the computer repair business over the next 10 years?
i want to be able to do that kind of work with computers, but they don’t necessarily pay that well (40k a yr). Are there any other computer careers that involve repair work, ect. that pay at least 10k higher yearly? Thanks!

I’m entering a vocational high school but the application provides little information about the courses offered.
Can someone tell me what the difference between computer repair and computer science are?
I want to learn more about languages like c++, java, etc.
So which one would provide more of that? And if you can, please elaborate on what would generally be provided in each of the courses.
I’m planning on becoming a computer programmer and/or graphics programmer, hopefully for video games.
